The work on these pages can loosely be defined as Fiber Art.  My definition of fiber art is anything made with a base of fibers, threads and yarns that is not a traditional bed quilt.  You will mostly see wall hangings, journal quilts, a few contemporary quilts and a few 3-dimensional items.  My personal favorites are the art quilts shown in the “From the Heart” section.  Each one was inspired by a special event in my life and has a significance that is not always apparent without explanation.
